Pakistan will be clashing against Australia in the upcoming week for the 2nd test match. The visitors have started their away series with a setback, losing by 360 runs in the first test match. It has not been an ideal start for the visitors as David Warner and Mitchell Marsh took the charge in the first innings. Pakistan debutant Aamer Jamal took 6 wickets as the world champions posted a total of 487 in the first innings. Pakistani openers replied with a great 1st wicket partnership of 74. Australia knocked the visitors for 271 runs as Nathan Lyon picked up 399 wickets. In the 2nd innings after some early wickets the Aussies got the hold to the test match as Usman Khawaja and Mitchell punched high for their side at home. Australia gave Pakistan a target 450 which eventually went out of reach as Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood stood up early and later Nathan Lyon reaching his 500 wickets mark.
AUSTRAILIA VS PAKISTAN 2ND TEST MATCH
Australia has declared their 13 man squad for the boxing day test match. The home side has released Lance Morris for the Melbourne ground encounter. The player will join the BBL squad ahead of the boxing day test match. David Warner also retained his place into the coming encounter after a massive 164 runs in the first innings and 0 in the 2nd innings. Lance Morris will be available for Perth Scorchers in the on going edition of Big Bash league.

“I don’t think injuries are going to be an issue, so I dare say it will be a pretty similar line-up at this stage. I think all the bowlers are pretty fresh after (the win in Perth). It’s basically the ideal start to the summer,” Cummins said after the Perth Test, hinting an unchanged XI for Melbourne.
